After a week of hard work learning how to cycle safely, we set off on our big cycle around our area on Monday. The weather was grey but dry so we were happy. Safety was our main priority so we all wore helmets and hi-viz jackets and Joan drove behind the group and Louise in front. Our route took us from the school to the Dunloughan Crossroads where we turned left. We went up towards Emlagharan, turning left again and making our way over the track. It had potholes and grass up the middle but it was enjoyable all the same. We took a rest on the commonage and then continued home. We had a great time and plan to do it again next year.
