The senior room had a fantastic day at their school tour. We left at 9:30am and went straight to the sheep farm where we cut turf, saw a sheep dog demonstration, sheared sheep and fed baby lambs. We then ate some lunch and did the famine walk. Six children completed the full walk and saw the famine village at Foher. Next we went to Killary Adventure Centre where we did the Bog Challenge. It was brilliant. To round off the day we drove back to Clifden where we were allowed to go to the shop and then get Supermacs. We even got free ice-cream as well. We had a great day but we were tired after it!
